Pointhouse x Ika Jane
We believe that design is not only form and function, but also encounter, experimentation and dialogue between different ideas. Over the years, this conviction has led us to develop a series of special projects that stem from the desire to explore new creative languages, collaborate with like-minded partners and tell the story of our approach to design.
For us, these initiatives represent a space for creative freedom: opportunities to develop collaborations, weave together cultures and open ourselves to new perspectives, always keeping the values that define our identity at the center of everything we do.
Special Projects are therefore the place where design, research and relationships converge to create experiences that go beyond the product itself, becoming stories, cross-cultural exchanges and new forms of expression.
Thanks to our ‘Una T!PA Speciale’ campaign, we had the opportunity to get to know Micaela and her enchanting world more closely. After spending years traveling around the world without a home, Micaela decided to settle down with her family in Bali, where her clothing brand Ika Jane was born.
With garments entirely hand-made by Balinese women and held to the highest sustainability standards, we saw in Ika Jane an opportunity to open ourselves to new experiences and new forms of creative expression.
We are firmly convinced, in fact, that culture, across all its disciplines, is the true driver of change, and that is why we champion initiatives that foster community and connection, both locally and internationally.
This is how Ika Jane x Pointhouse came to life: an exclusive collaboration through which we were able to dress our Tipa chairs with unique, original cushions.
Made from natural materials and using printing technologies that minimize fabric and water waste, the cushions in this new collection are adorned with floral embroidery and fruit-inspired prints that transport us to the wonderful world of Bali, bringing a touch of exotic charm into our homes.
